The South London was founded in March 2011 by

DJ Jazzheadchronic Mickey Smith and staged at his enormous warehouse music and Arts Centre The CLF Art Cafe AKA The Bussey Building, Peckham, South London [Which he founded in 2007]. What started out as Mickey playing a free entry monthly 7 hr set of eclectic funk, soul, groove, disco, batu + more on 1 floor for 50-100 people has fast become one of the leading club nights in London bar none. Fast Forward to 2014 and some of the best Bands and Djs from across the planet [Snowboy, Perry Louis, Rob Messer, Nik Weston, Patrick Forge, Bad Rabbits, Fred Wesley, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Brian Jackson, Riot Jazz Brass Band, Omar] now regularly join Jazheadchronic across 4 floors - with a minimum of 1500 people turning up twice a month for a heavyweight sound and dance floor direct session in a place dedicated to the art of the get down. A 21st century church of the chill.
